39.10 On Hold
“On Hold” If you own a phone and ever had to call for support, there’s a good chance that you’ve been placed on hold. I know, I have. And for longer than an hour. I always wondered about the person on the other end. Did they ever realize how long it had been, and dreaded the response awaiting them.
Be careful out there.

Panel 1
From inside a guest room at the White Bear tavern, Nak is sitting on the floor, holding a tankard and resting against the bed. The gobo is looking towards the viewer and Puccini (offscreen), apparently wrapping up a discussion with a gesture for emphasis.
Nak: "<Then we're all in agreement. And we all know our roles.>"
Puccini, offscreen: "Good. Because we should not discuss this until we act."
Panel 2
The view switches to Puccini, standing against a nearby wall. The wizard is in good spirit, arms open as if accepting the conversation's conclusion.
Puccini: "I'll drop my spells and we can enjoy the rest of the evening."
Hob, interrupting offscreen: "<Wait!>"
Panel 3
At the end of the bed closer to Puccini (offscreen), Hob appears to have had a sudden realization. The gobo is also sitting on the floor and is holding a tankard with both hands.
Hob: "<Did you ever reconnect with Nob?>"
Panel 4
Puccini crosses his arms, perturbed and turns his head to glance away from the two gobos.
Puccini: "No... I'll take care of it downstairs."
Puccini, muttering: "I already ruined the mood once tonight..."
