“Request Dodger” What do you think? Is Puccini pushing too hard, especially if he means what he has just told Nob? (It doesn’t look good for the wizard when he uses the quest as a carrot.) Should you get to know your fellow workers and possibly get pulled into potential drama? Or is it best to keep your head down and focus on your work?

Be careful out there.

Sitting in a booth at the White Bear tavern, Puccini is viewed from the side. His eyes glow as he engages in telepathic communication. The wizard's brow is knitted slightly with serious...
Puccini, thinking: "You've been dodging my request for a while now. As has everyone else."

...although the expression softens some as he continues to communicate. The wizard raises his glass of wine to drink, not needing his lips during the discussion.
Puccini, thinking: "I like to know who I am working with."

Panel 3

Puccini, transmitting through Whiskit (both offscreen): "To know those I want to help. If they would just open up a little."

Panel 4
...and then surrenders to the wizard's final communique, holding up both hands to stop the conversation. Nob's head hangs some and the gobo exhales a rare one word reply.
Puccini, transmitting through Whiskit (both offscreen): "Or perhaps we take it slow. Gives us more time to plan..."
Nob, heavily: "<Fine!>"
