Inside Whiskit's classroom, Nob is coming into view, climbing up the chair and long table, and is looking up slightly to speak with a Puccini-channeling Whiskit (offscreen). Next to the gobo leader is Pat, who is setting down a tray, on top of which is a bowl of soup and a spoon. Unknowingly joining the conversation, Pat is wide-eyed at first...
Nob: "<You're late!>"
Pat, speaking over Whiskit: "<I'm sorry. It took longer than expected.>"
Puccini transmission through Whiskit, offscreen: "<Sorry. We're trying to push my spell limits.>"
Panel 2
... but relaxes with a smile when Nob turns mid-climb and gives a reassuring response. The gobo chef shifts the tray forward...
Nob: "<Oh! Don't worry about it. You're fine.>"
Puccini transmission through Whiskit, offscreen: "<That's very considerate of you.>"
Panel 3
...then abruptly takes offense when Nob makes a sudden exclamation through clenched teeth, standing instead of sitting with hands balled up into fists.
Nob: "<No! this is so unacceptable and you know it!>"
Pat, speaking over Whiskit: "<Hey! You haven't even tried it yet.>"
Puccini transmission through Whiskit, offscreen: "<I've already reported twice today, and was going to...>"
Panel 4
Nob turns towards Pat with arms spread wide and tries to explain the misunderstanding, but - being frustrated - only upsets the gobo chef.
Nob: "<I'm not talking to you!>"
Puccini transmission through Whiskit, offscreen: "<No. I'm not wasting magic. We're talking. now.>"
