38.04 Supper’s Ready!
“Supper’s Ready!” It has been a while since we seen the gobos running around Breakershome as anything but gnomes. It has been a while since we first saw them “transformed” via illusory magic. And just a reminder that it doesn’t last all day. And it disappears if they get aggressive (probably why Puccini told the gobos to stand down during the bar fight).
Be careful out there.

Panel 1
On the second floor balcony at the White Bear tavern, Lylt has braced two serving trays on his shoulders. The elf carries the weight of seven sets of wooden bowls and tankards with little effort, standing tall with a smile as Puccini steps out of the guest room, being careful not to leave the door wide open. Instead, he holds it ajar and Wak - magically disguised as a gnome - can just be seen inside.
Narrative Box: "Later at the White Bear."
Puccini: "Thanks, Lylt. That was fast."
Panel 2
From inside the room, Puccini gives a wave outside and shouts out his thanks as a smiling Wak is walking further into the room with the tray of tankards. The magic has faded and there is a slight glow haloing the gobo...
Puccini, loudly: "Give Zathrus my regards!"
Hob, offscreen: "<That was close.>"
Panel 3
The same is happening to Nak. The glowing "gnome" glances towards Puccini (offscreen) while reaching for a bowl on a serving tray...
Nak: <"You could have talked to Nob without all of us present.">
Panel 4
...but it is a gobo that turns to face the wizard with both the bowl in hand and a tired expression. While the effect is still fading from Nak, it has fully ended on Fip, whose hand can be seen reaching in to grab a bowl.
Puccini: "I thought it'd be nice to share a meal for once."
