43.09 Familiar Face
“Familiar Face” Well, it’s familiar to the readers as the gobos have not had the pleasure of meeting Krak at this point. Here’s the first appearance, way back when things were cute and cuddly.
Warning: Things will get more extreme/intense than usual from episode 42.08 through to episode 45.11.
Be careful out there.

Panel 1
A well-lit close-up of Nik hoisting Nab up from the last comic showing a small cut is in a circular inset panel with a vapor wafting upward and over the left shoulder of Krak the troll, standing with his back towards the viewer in a dark room. The troll gives a "snif"...
Unseen individual: "<And one more...>"
Panel 2
...then two more, and begins to turn slowly...
Unseen individual: "<Krak. No.>"
Panel 3
...until he can snap his head quickly to look over his shoulder with a toothy grin.
Unseen individual: "<I want them alive, - ->"
Krak, interrupting with emphasis on the last word: "<Behold. Food.>"
Panel 4
The point of view flips to show what Krak sees: a backlit Nab, hanging on the door opening. The gobo is horrified at what is seen... and heard.
Krak, offscreen with emphasis on the last word: "<Good to eat... plenty for my hunger!>"

After this page I’m even more inclined to agree with Nob about the troll being the worst.
Krak, no! You can’t eat our protagonists!
Just a note, one does NOT cook troll on a stick. The flesh is too tough for that, unless you use a very low covered fire and are willing to wait a full day and night (smokey fires are best it gets the parasites to leave the flesh) and there are those who swear by troll stew maid with screaming cabbages, that on takes 2 days and a pot set just so it almost bubbles.
