41.10 Imperius Rek
“Imperius Rek” Have you ever been to an event when the relatively low volume chitter chatter gets devoured by sudden cheers? I haven’t either.
I should tag on “in the last five years”. You know what period of time I’m talking about. Since then, I find I get more anxious the larger the crowd.
Be careful out there.

Panel 1
Viewed from just outside the curtained entrance, the two gobos present on the right side of the raised dais react as a hand reaches forward and begins to part the curtain. Tik, the furthest from the entrance gives quick yet quiet instructions and maintains an "at attention" stance. Nab however is in a panic, wheeling around to see that the time is up. The leader of the gobos is stepping out on the stage...
Tik, whispering: "<Eyes forward! Stand tall!>"
Panel 2
...but as this great gobo passes through the curtains - so close to the viewer that only a gold scaled armored shirt and bracers in view, accented by a purple cape and gold buckled belt - Nab is able to assume the posture Tik had suggested. If the message would have been spoken just a second later, it would have been suffocated to silence by the deafening chant of "Rek Rek Rek Rek Rek" that fills the air.
Crowd, offscreen and continuous "Rek Rek Rek Rek Rek"
Panel 3
The two gobos are like statues holding perfectly still as their leader marches across and begins to leave the view, striding towards the front of the stage.
Crowd, offscreen and continuous "Rek Rek Rek Rek Rek"
Panel 4
It is only once Nab is confident this armored gobo has forgotten their presence that a quiet exhale and a momentary relaxing of posture is allowed, as the hustle from tent to dais finally takes its toll.
