Panel 1
Rek turns fully towards Nab (offscreen), the cape settling, draping down the shoulders after a long pause. The gobo leader's hands raise, the clenched fist being held by the other...
Rek: "<The spell failed to transport us to the enemy mage. But they must be near.>"
Panel 2
Closing with the viewer, Rek walks near were Nab (offscreen) is sitting, becoming larger than the frame, to the point where the eyes tracking Nab are obscured.
Rek: "<With Zap and Dūm gone, I need a new commander.>"
Panel 3
The view takes a 90 degree turn, with Nab in the center of the frame and Rek entering in from the right, still larger than the scene allows. The realization of what is being said is slow coming to the seated gobo...
Rek: "<You got reflexes. Can think on your feet. Like Nak.>"
Panel 4
...and by the time, the gobo leader, is exiting to the left, Nab looks a touch panicked when commenting. But as Rek's cape almost entirely blocks Nab from view, so does the snarled reply end any notion that the comment was effective.
Nab: "<I don't think I can do that.>"
Rek: "<This is not a request.>"
