“Three Foursomes” It has been a long time since the gobos found themselves in groups of four. At least it’s by choice this time. Although at least one of them isn’t too keen on the wardrobe update.

Warning: Things will get more extreme/intense than usual from episode 42.08 through to episode 45.11.

Be careful out there.

Panel 1
In a close up, Tik is pleasantly distracted by a large rock peppered with large emeralds which sparkle in the light of the candle onto of the gobo's helmet. In fact, all the gems in the cave wall are like little stars glittering in the dark. And it is about to get darker as Rek reaches up thumb and pointer to pinch out flame.
Nob, narrates offscreen: "<We didn't know why, but the spell had sent us to an emerald mine.>"

Panel 2
In a very wide shot, the gobos moved out of the wider cavern and down a natural tunnel where the first wooden roof support can be found. In the back are the rearguard: Zip and Nak, calm with hands on their weapons, and their not so calm companions. Pat is using a large, round bottom pan as a shield and Fip's bow is clenched, hands wringing the limbs just above and below the grip. Further ahead are Rek, Hob, Tok, and Bam. They are all alert and, with the exception of Tok, are ready for a fight. Tok's tow-handed maul is casually rested against the shoulder but wide eyes convey as sense of concern. In the far front, approach an unseen source of light are Tik, Nab, Pōk and Nik, the latter the only one that appears confident. Tik is hunched over, glancing about, Nab is uncomfortable in a leather-shelled gambeson with pack and bedroll, and Pōk is in a combat stance but nervous.
Nob, narrates offscreen: "<We tried to secure it with... a rearguard... an assault team... and scouts.>"
