40.04 So Late
“So Late” Procrastination can get the best of me. The longer you are away, the more you want to play. It can be hard to get back into a flow. Or, in this case, we know something has to be done, but we put it off because it is just something that we don’t want to do.

In a room at Puccini's tower, Nob gives a dubious look at Whiskit (offscreen) and towards the viewer, with arms crossed.
Nob: "<And what is that?>"
Puccini, transmission: "I want what you promised."
Panel 2
Back in a booth at the White Bear tavern, Puccini leans forward, eyes glowing as he communicates mentally. He gestures with a hand...
Puccini, thinking: "I want to know more about Wak..."
Panel 3
... which is reflected by Whiskit standing opposite of Nob (offscreen), who takes the same action and has the same glow to its eyes.
Puccini, transmission through Whiskit: "And a bit more since this has been long overdue."
Panel 4
The view shifts back to Nob, who has begun to walk away. The gob's arm are extended as if to stretch away fatigue.
Nob: "<Look at the time.>"
Puccini, transmission: "Nob..."
Nob: "<It is quite late.>"
