Tripping Through Fantasy: Not all fantasy stories take themselves too seriously.

Saffron and Sage – Saffron Saldarriaga’s crush has been kidnapped! Together with her trusty pet-slash-mentor Sage, a large axe, and an inept guide, she sets out to rescue him from the evil nymph Milk. But with no idea where Milk is, and a recurring assassin problem, she’s got her work cut out for her.

Huzzah – Gus and his niece Lily had a dream. They wanted to open a nice, family tavern and inn along a well-traveled road. Instead, they ended up with a clientele of mercenaries, adventurers, and wizards. It?? 1/2 s not what they expected, but they?? 1/2 re doing their best.

Realm of Owls – Realm of Owls comic offers a healthy dose of OWLS. And why not have some HUMOR with your OWLS as well? (And possibly a hint of SATIRE. We don’t know how that got there, but you can have it.)

Gifts or Curses: Gifts come in many forms, and sometimes the consequences of those gifts aren’t what’s hoped for.

Gifts of Wandering Ice – A story about ancient things people find in melting icebergs and the apocalypse that made humanity better.

Aster and the Fire – A failed Chosen one falls into a life of magical crime.

It’s the six year anniversary of Gobo Gazette, but some would disagree. Apparently, gobos that are disguised as gnomes don’t count! There might not be a speck of green skin anywhere in last year’s strips, but there were interesting developments. We got a better look at the individual that stole the black stone. Was it hard to see? Don’t worry. The reveal is coming.

This is also the longest that the dirty dozen have been separated so far. The last time was over five years ago – or approximately half a year to the gobos. Gotta love how slow comic time can be. At this rate, it might be another year until we get to tomorrow! Just kidding. Or am I?

This year I am hoping to finally achieve a sizeable buffer so I can do some double posts to get things back on schedule, update the website, and work on some gobo-related projects. I hadn’t done Inktober in a long time, and there are other things I want to look into. I hope you also have some great goals this year and that you are looking forward to another year of Gobo Gazette!
